1 CHEMICAL STORAGE BOTTLES A range of borosilicate glass reagent bottles suitable for the longer term storage of aggressive chemicals such as nitric acid, sulphuric acid, bromine etc. Each bottle comes with a high quality European manufactured red PBTB GL45 screw cap with cushioned PTFE coated silicone liner and red ETFE pouring ring, providing a high level of resistance to chemicals. Bottles are available in clear or amber glass. Spare caps, pouring rings and cap liners are also available separately. Please note: liners do not fit the blue screw caps, which are designed to be used without a liner. All parts are autoclavable. Sold individually. The slimmer design allows for improved use of space in autoclaves and refrigerators. Designed for the storage and handling of chemicals and liquid media, these clear borosilicate glass bottles come with polypropylene lids and pouring rings and silicone rubber bottle tag. All parts are autoclavable. A pre-defined labelling area allows for use with the dedicated DURAN® self- adhesive YOUTILITY labels (see ‘Labelling’ section). The redesigned polypropylene GL45 screw caps allow faster opening and closing of the bottles and offer a better grip thanks to the optimised grooves and ridges. Bottles are compatible with other GL45 type caps, including the red chemical resistant caps.
