1 HEATING MANTLES These economy heating mantles are ideal for distillation, evaporation, extraction and boiling of liquids in round bottom flasks. They feature electronic temperature regulation and include on/off power and heating- up lamps. The outer casing is made of furnace-painted steel and the inner vessel is thermally isolated with mineral fibre. The heating elements are composed of Nickel-Chromium (Nichrome) and the units include a clamp for retort rods. • Painted steel casing

2 HEATING MANTLES - MEDLINE These quality, energy-regulated, all-purpose heating mantles include a time proportional double pole system which allows stable control of the heating element, reducing the risk of overheating liquids. The front panel analogue temperature controller allows accurate temperature settings and the units include an on/off switch and amber light to indicate heating up is in progress. Thermal insulation is provided using moulded silica and the mantle is woven glass fibre mat. 3 HEATING MANTLES - ELECTROTHERMAL High quality heating mantles which feature a durable, chemically resistant polypropylene cool-touch outer housing to minimise damage from spills and ceramic fibre insulation. The design allows for maximum heat transfer with minimal risk of damage to glassware. These mantles have a built-in energy regulator with indicator lamps for power and heater operation, and a clamp to hold a retort rod.
