MAXIMUM MAGNIFICATION 400X For younger students or simply where space is limited . The SFC-3A microscopes use an external light source via an attached mirror, the mirror can be replaced by an optional sub-stage illuminator. Younger pupils may find the single course focusing knob ( SFC-3A ) easier than separate coarse and fine SFC-3AF . An integral handle makes the B20 microscopes perfect for small hands to carry, the re-chargeable model could even be used outside. These microscopes feature a gliding stage so students can examine different parts of the specimen without touching the slide. The modern shape and rugged metal construction of the BA50 , together with a gliding stage make it the perfect choice when looking for a microscope that will last for many years. The B-50 features coaxial focusing, usually a feature found on higher specification microscopes. The B-50 also has an innovative condenser with inbuilt light source giving ultra-bright light and great contrast, this makes adjusting the light very intuitive.
