1 LASER POINTER Class ll laser pointers (≤ 1mW), available in 3 wave- lengths: Red (650nm); Green (532nm); Violet (405nm). The violet laser pointer can be used to demonstrate TIR (Total Internal Reflection) in tonic water. Requires 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied). Cat No. Description Colour Wavelength Price Per OLE-110-100 Laser Pointer Red 650nm 16.52 ea. OLE-110-150 Laser Pointer Green 532nm 34.65 ea. OLE-110-200 Laser Pointer Violet 405nm 36.67 ea. 1 LASER POINTER - CONSTANT ON/OFF Class II (≤ 1mW) laser point- ers, each featuring a constantly on/constantly off switch, which allows the laser to be mounted for experimental use without the need to keep holding the switch down. Available in 532nm (green) or 650nm (red) laser pointers. Require 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied). Cat No. Description Colour Wavelength Price Per OLE-130-532 Green laser pointer, constant on/off, 532nm 38.45 ea. OLE-130-650 Red laser pointer, constant on/off, 650nm 28.85 ea. 2 TRIPLE BEAM LASER A semiconductor laser with 3 indivdual beams providing the following functionality: localised light beam with a vertical adjustment for diffraction experiments, 1 light beam in horizontal plane to study waves propagation, 1 or 3 light beams in vertical plane for geometrical optic experiments. The beam(s) can be modulated by using a TTL signal (5V) via a 4mm socket. The unit is magnetic and can be used on a board. Laser wavelength: 650 nm. Power: less than 1 mW (class II) Power supply: 2 x AA batteries (not supplied) or AC/DC adaptor (supplied) Cat No. Description Price Per OLE-160-150 Triple Beam Laser 138.18 ea. LASCELLS LASER SYSTEM The Lascells semiconductor laser contains two independently controlled laser diodes, one at the standard 650nm red and a second at 532nm green. Both lasers may be simultaneously passed through a double slit slide and both diffraction patterns may be displayed one above the other for an immediate comparison. The unit is equipped with internal 1 MHz modulation which when used in conjunction with the laser receiver and an oscilloscope allows the speed of light to be determined in the laboratory. In addition, the facility to modulate the laser from an external source is provided allowing audio to be sent to the receiver from a smartphone or MP3 player. The apparatus is switched on/off using a removable key, to prevent unau- thorised use, and is supplied with a 9V power supply and full instructions. Also available is a dual purpose laser receiver, designed for use with the Lascells Dual Colour laser, the unit contains a planar chip photodiode tied to a 1Mhz amplifier for speed of light calculations along with an audio amplifier for demonstrating data transmission using light. The unit is powered by a 9V DC supply (included) and has a built in speaker for audio reception. The amplified audio is also brought out to 4mm sockets on the front panel for observation or connection to a secondary driver such as the Rubens tube. When using the receiver for speed of light calculations the audio amplifier is disabled, with the signal brought to the front panel only for monitoring using an oscilloscope. Cat No. Description Price Per 3 OLE-175-120 Dual Colour Laser 259.06 ea. 4 OLE-175-150 Laser Receiver 129.80 ea.
