1 LASCELLS COLOUR MIXER -NEW! This is a fully self-contained apparatus for demonstrating the mixing of coloured lights to produce secondary colours (and white) in the traditional three-circle pattern. High-intensity LEDs provide the pure spectral light sources and they are contained in a stylish enclosure with front aperture to permit projection of the image on to a standard white screen or for forward projection on to an opalescent screen (supplied). A plug-top mains adaptor is included, supplying 5V d.c. There is no setting- up required – just plug in, switch on and point the unit at a suitable screen. The Colour mixer has three controls to vary the intensity of each of the Red, Green and Blue beams via internal circuitry. The teacher can mix the colours in any combination or saturation. The unit is also ideal for demonstrating the absorption of wavelengths by coloured objects. Red paint appears black in green light etc. The LEDs provide a much better facility than coloured filters. The Colour mixer is best used in a blacked-out laboratory. The main unit is in a black anodised aluminium housing measuring 130 × 110 × 60mm. An opalescent screen is included which measures 200 × 200mm. Cat No. Description Price Per OCO-370-110 Lascells Colour Mixer 167.37 ea. The quality apparatus comprises 3 bright LED light sources – 1 each of red, green and blue - whose intensity can be adjusted independently of each other. The light output from each LED is projected onto the screen provided, with the primary colour circles (red, green and blue) overlapping to show secondary colours (yellow, magenta and cyan), with white light in the centre. Each light source is mounted in an adjustable ‘ball and socket’ holder which enables the angle of each light to be adjusted, allowing the user to have more control over the projection and colour overlap areas. Supplied as a complete kit, including 3 led projector, stand, power unit, tripod base, white screen and storage case. 2 COLOUR MIXING APPARATUS - SUPERIOR This Colour Mixing apparatus provides a superb demonstration of additive colour synthesis of the primary colours: red, green and blue.

3 NEWTON’S COLOUR DISC - HAND DRIVEN For demonstrating that white light is composed of all the spectral colours through the additive mix- ing of the colours. Comprising a multicoloured circular disc having sectors of various spectral colour in proper proportions. On rotating the disc at suf- ficient speed, all the colours will be observed to disappear by merging into a single white colour. The disc has a friction pulley at the back touching the driving wheel with a handle. Complete assembly mounted on a stable base. Cat No. Description Price Per OCO-450-100 Newton’s Colour Disc - Hand Driven 27.85 ea. 4 NEWTON’S COLOUR DISC - MOTORISED For demonstrating that white light is composed of all the spectral colours through the additive mixing of the colours. Comprising a multi-coloured circular disc of about 80mm diameter, having sectors of various spectral colour in proper proportions, mounted on a low voltage DC motor. On rotating the disc, all the colours are observed to disappear by merging into a single white colour. Provided with colour-coded wires terminating in 4mm banana plugs, connected to the motor for power input. Cat No. Description Price Per OCO-500-100 Newton’s Colour Disc - Motorised 35.23 ea.
