N ONMEDICAL M ALPRACTICE —T HEORIES OF R ECOVERY

Termination. If there is evidence of termination of the relationship, the following instruction may be added to PJC 61.3: An accountant -client relationship does not exist if either the client or the accountant has terminated the relationship. The client may ter minate the relationship at any time by communicating the termina tion to the accountant . The accountant may terminate the relation ship after taking reasonable steps to avoid foreseeable prejudice to his client.
