See PJC 80.5 for the elements of personal injury damages to a minor child. The above question separately submits past and future damages so that prejudgment inter est can be recovered on the past damages. See Tex. Fin. Code § 304.1045. No parents’ recovery of “consortium-type” damages in injury cases. The Texas Supreme Court has declined to recognize a claim for “consortium-type” dam ages from injury not resulting in death to a minor child. See Roberts v. Williamson , 111 S.W.3d 113, 120 (Tex. 2003) .
