DUBLIN CORPORATION Completion o f sales or leases with advances under the Small Dwellings (Acquisition) Acts. F ollowing representations made by the Society, the Law Agent o f the Dublin Corporation has agreed to alter the present procedure whereby the deeds are delivered in the Law Agent’s office in exchange for a direction from the Law Agent to the Finance Department to issue a draft for the amount o f the loan made payable to the borrower. In future the draft will be handed over in the Law Agent’s office in exchange for the title deeds and mortgage duly completed. For this purpose it will be necessary to make appointments for the com pletion o f sales a reasonable time in advance so that the necessary draft may be available from the Finance Department o f the Corporation. Having regard to the large number o f transactions in the Corporation, members are asked to co-operate by ( a ) ensuring that all outstanding matters have been dealt with before arranging to complete ; (b) making appoint ments to complete in good time; (V) keeping the appointments punctually. The new arrangement will come into operation on April 1st and appointments for completion may be made for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 2.30 and 4.30 o’clock. In the ease o f instalment loans, the first instalment only will be paid in the Law Agent’s office and later instalments will be paid in the Finance Department.
