Cork, on the 23rd April, 1954. - Mr.: .Purcell served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Michael Purcell, Macroom, Co. Cork, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1932, and practised at Macroom under the style o f Messrs. Michael Purcell and Son. M r . J o h n J . S m y t h d ie d at a private Nursing Home on the 25th April, 1954. •> Mr. Smyth served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. James Smyth, Drogheda, Co. Louth, was admitted in Easter Sittings, 1906, and practised at Drogheda, Co. Louth, under the style o f Messrs. Smyth and Son. Mr. Smyth was a member of the Council o f this Society from 1943 to 1948, and Vice-President for the year 1947-48.

M r . W il l ia m W a l s h died at St. Vincent’s Private Nursing Home on the 2nd May, 1954. Mr. Walsh served his apprenticeship with Mr. James J. Hickey, 8 Clare Street, Dublin, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1935, and practised at Navan, Co. Meath.
