aquatics AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD CLASS - $200 Ages 15+, Mid-County Activity Center and Frog Pond This course provides the necessary skills to become a Certified Lifeguard, and includes American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED, and Lifeguarding Training. Individuals interested in the class should be strong swimmers able to swim 300 yards, tread water for two minutes, and complete a timed swim challenge.Come prepared to be challenged with these new skills. After the completion of the course, you will receive a certification card for each skill listed above. Fee includes registration and CPR mask. Space is limited to the first 10 participants. Course 6533 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. AMERICAN RED CROSS WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR CLASS - $200, Ages 16+, Mid-County Activity Center and Frog Pond This course will train candidates to teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program including Parent & Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim, Adult Swim, Private Lessons, Water Safety Courses and Presentations.Interested individuals should be able to perform variety of strokes for 25 yards, float on their back for one minute, and tread water for one minute.
