KIDS IN KAYAKS - $20 6-7:30 p.m., Frog Pond Leisure Pool This beginner level class will introduce children ages 7-11 to the sport of kayaking, focusing on the parts of the kayak and all equipment needed to get started. Learning to get in and out of the kayak, floating in a life jacket (or PFD), practicing basic paddle strokes, and fun games in the pool will be part of the experience. Introducing your child to the sport of kayaking in a fun and controlled environment will help them get started in the right direction with proper technique. KAYAK ROLL CLINCS - $20 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Frog Pond We will teach you the techniques required for ypulling off this important skill in the comfort of our pool. This is a great time to learn the Eskimo roll, or practice making your roll bombproof. Often a student can learn this skill in one session.
