VIRGINIA DARE CRUISE - $65 Thur, Jul 4, Smith Mountain Lake Celebrate the 4th of July in a big way on an evening cruise aboard the Virginia Dare on Smith Mountain Lake. The cruise boat will give you the best seat for viewing the magnificent fireworks display by Saunders Volunteer Fire Company. Dress in your red, white, and blue attire and enjoy a meal while cruising around Smith Mountain Lake. Register by May 15. Course 6607 Location Pick-up Return F&M 5:00 p.m. 11:30 p.m. MCGC 5:30 a.m 11:00 p.m. CRUISE-IN - $30 Sun, Jul 7, Wildwood Daylily Farm Come see collector cars, street rods, and other rides of interest. Enjoy live entertainment on the pickin’ porch at an afternoon jam session, where the public is invited to bring an instrument and sing-a-long. The daylilies will be in peak bloom, and you can purchase them to take home for your garden. Dinner will be served family-style at the Pine Tavern Restaurant following the jam session. This comedy features four southern ladies and the adventures of their weekly bridge night on the main stage. One of the ladies dies, and the others borrow her ashes from the funeral home for one last card game. The uproarious comedy continues with the wildest, most exciting night of their lives.
