FONTAINE SAINT-SULPICE (6 e ARR.) Située sur le parvis de l’église dont elle porte le nom, appelée aussi « fontaine des orateurs secrets », c’est une œuvre monumentale de style Renaissance. Chacune des quatre faces de son édicule abrite la statue d’un évêque catholique, alignée sur un point cardinal.

Gracefully occupying the forecourt of the Saint-Sulpice church, this magnificent fountain, also called “fountain of the secret orators,” is an impressive Renaissance- style monument. Each of its four aedicules shelters the figure of a Catholic bishop aligned with a cardinal point.
