HUNTS YOUTH LEAGUE CUP COMPETITION RULES 2014-15 The rules below are to be used in conjunction with the rules and regulations of the Hunts Youth League. All disputes will be settled by the Management Committee. C1. Qualification of Players a) No player shall play in a cup competition prior to the Semi-Finals unless they have been registered with the competition to play for that team in accordance with Rule 8 of the Hunts Youth League. b) A player may play in a Semi-Final if they have been registered with the competition to play for that team for at least 5 days prior to the match and may only play in a Final if they were eligible to play in the Semi-Final. c) Where a cup competition is structured in a group league basis, then these games shall be considered qualifying games for rule C1(b). d) No player shall play (or be recorded in the team statistics for more than one team in the same cup competition. C2. Duration and Conclusion of games. a) The games duration shall be as mandated in the rules of the Hunts Youth League for that team’s age group. b) If the match is level at the end of normal time, the game shall be concluded with a penalty competition in accordance with rules of the International Board Decision contained in the Laws of Association Football. (Penalty Competition) C3. Officials of the Game a) All officials’ fees during the cup competition (except Semi-Finals/Finals) are the responsibility of the Home team. The fee due is in accordance with the Hunts Youth League rules and should be paid directly after the match. Clubs failing to comply will be fined a maximum of £25. b) All officials fees and costs as identified by the Management committee for the Semi-Finals shall be payable as per the schedule. Fees and expenses payable to the referee and assistant referees shall be shared equally by both home and away Clubs. It shall be the responsibility of the home club to pay such fees and expenses to the match officials immediately after the match. c) All officials’ fees and costs incurred in the Final of any Cup competition will be the responsibility of the Hunts Youth League. C4. Home Ground, Team Colours, Cancellations. a) The home team is the team stated first on the fixture (except in Finals), and are responsible for providing the venue and notifying the away team in accordance with the rules of the Hunts Youth League. b) In the playing of Final matches the venue will be allocated by the Management Committee. c) If there is a clash of colours then the away team must change, unless the game is being played at a neutral venue when both teams shall change. d) All cup dates must be observed, but if a cancellation occurs due to the weather or as sanctioned by the referee, then the Fixtures Secretary will arrange an alternative date. C5. Results of Matches a) Results will be reported in accordance with the rules of the Hunts Youth League .
