W hen interior designer, Heidi Friedler, decorates the home she shares with her husband Tripp for the holidays, her exuberant design scheme reflects her signature style – bright color palettes, layers of texture and pattern, and a sophisticated collected vibe. It's magical, inviting, and just the right amount of over the top; in other words, it truly celebrates the season.

"I grew up outside of Chicago, so it was always cold and usually snowy with a fire burning inside every night," Heidi explains. "My mom went all out – lots of presents, lots of wrapping, baking cookies, decorating cookies, a really tall fresh tree, and a party or two. And that's what I remember most about the holidays."
