M y happiest childhood memories are in the kitchen with my sisters making desserts, especially during the holidays when the halls were decked. Taking time to sit around the kitchen table decorating cookies for and with my nearest and dearest is a joy in my world. I like to use the ginger cookie for the flavor and it also stands up to some manhandling. The rustic quality lends itself to my less than perfect decoration techniques and children's little hands.
