Datwyler’s new FO Universal DLTS (dry loose tube swelling) cable series comprises solid fiber optic cables with metal-free rodent protection, a flame-retardant halogen-free construction, and high crush resistance. Swelling yarns ensure longitudinal water- tightness for indoor or outdoor use. The new cables are available in two variants: with gel-free stranded loose tubes (wbGGFR) and with an additional gel-free central loose tube (ZGGFR). They allow for easy handling due to their gel-free strand interstices. The new cables fulfill the fire performance requirements of European Construction Products regulation (CPR) classes Dca, Cca and B2ca.
