STAGE 2: MANAGING CANDIDATES

— To open and post a position , a requisition must be initiated and approved in Talent Central. — If you are a new employee you will want to request access from your HR Representative . —To open a position, access Talent Central from Simon 411 using Single Sign On or directly through tbe.taleo.net. —Requisitions are opened from templates already developed and listed in the Talent Central Job Library . From the Requisition Tab, select Job Library from the drop down menu, narrow your search by typing the title of the job in the Title Box, select the job title that routes to your HR Representative, and click on Create Requisition from the Template. — Requisition Information : Complete all required fields in the Requisition Information section. Be sure to add yourself as a Requisition Owner to receive notifications and view candidates. —Click Save . The requisition will then be routed through the appropriate approval process. — Requisition Owners will be notified once all approvals are received and the requisition is Open. — Career Sites : Once a requisition is in Open status, the position is automatically posted on the Simon Internal and External Career Sites. — Additional sourcing resources : All positions are posted to Indeed, Linked In, Facebook, and Twitter.

— Access candidate profiles by selecting Candidates link at the top of the Requisition. Candidate resumes and applications can be viewed within the profiles. — Talent Central is designed to track and capture all candidate communication, including requests for Interviews and Profile Assessments. — CommunicationTemplates : To send a communication to a candidate select the feature Send an Email fromthe candidate profile. Examples of Email Templates include Phone Interview Requests, InterviewConfirmation, Profile Assessment requests, Offers, and TBNT’s. You can also choose Blank Email which populates a form to type in your own message. You MUST choose a specific template, even if it is Blank Email. —Sending a ProfileAssessment to a candidate: In the Profiles International section of the candidate’s profile, select the Profiles Package name that coordinates with the job title. Check both the Profile Assessment and SendAssessment Link boxes. Select Send an Email and choose Field Request Profiles Assessment from the Email Template field. Results can be viewed by selecting Assessment Details under Profiles International tab. Please reach out to your HR Representative if you need a Profiles username and password. — The Requisition Based Status indicates where the candidate is currently sitting in the recruitment process . The initial Req Based Status will reflect whether the candidate applied as an External Candidate, Internal Candidate, or submitted as an Employee Referral. – Internal candidates must meet certain Eligibility Criteria in order to be considered for an interview. See the Job Posting Policy HR 108 for more detail. – Employee Referrals may be eligible for a Referral Bonus Payout. See Talent Central Referral Program for details. To update a candidate’s status choose the drop down menu under the Next Steps (Req) heading in the candidate profile. Interviews : Interviews should be conducted using the Behavioral Interviewing and Legal Interview Guidelines referenced in your Interview Blueprint. Simon Courtesy : Candidates and their family and friends are shoppers at Simon properties. Be respectful and courteous to them at all times. Creating a great experience for them is critical to our brand reputation and to keeping loyal shoppers.
