Foo Fighters made their new album Sonic Highways all over the USA, and made a great HBO series to go with it.Who else gets Barack Obama AND Fugazi’s Ian McKaye in the same episode? Only Dave Grohl and his mates! Sonic Highways doesn’t pull any punches: get on it. Gavin Rossdale and Bush mark the 20th anniversary of the classic Sixteen Stone with a hard rocking new album Man on the Run , produced by Nick Raskuliecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones ). Slipknot are also back with their first new album in several years, their first since the passing of late bassist Paul Gray, hence the album’s title 5:The Gray Chapter. And , look out, Canada’s Nickelback return with a much-antcipated album their fans will love called No FixedAddress (with a new single called Edge of Revolution ) it’s out November 14.
