Scenario One Kienmayer’s Dawn Attack

A short scenario to learn some infantry tactics, fighting in the village, hamlets and vineyards.  Start 8:00 am and finish at the end of the 9:20 am turn  Boundary – Use Set-up Map #1  Movement suggestions – with 2 players: 10 minutes for the French and 8 minutes for the Coalition  French units rout to the west and Coalition to the east boundary. If they leave the boundary, the units still roll to recover. If they have a successful morale roll, the

unit waits one turn and then enters on their respective boundary.

Empire of the French Starting Positions 3 e Ligne Infantrie Regiment any hex of Telnitz. Any battalion may occupy a vineyard and clear terrain hex (As along as at least three increments are in each.) The French receive 5 blank counters: one each to cover units and two to stack in any village or vineyard. The French place the counters secretly. When the Austrians assault the hex with a covered unit, the blank is removed. Reinforcements (see map) 8:00 from the Southern Border – 108e Ligne Regiment, 15e Legere Regiment, 1 ere Battalion. and 1ere Dragoons – no charges first turn Coalition Starting Positions FML Baron v.
