Russian Ergerskii (Jaeger) Versteckt Counters As he proved at Schoengrabern, Prince Bagartion was very skillful at concealing the disposition of troops on his defensive lines. Although these Russian Jaegers were of average ability, their placement made it difficult to ascertain the Ergerskii’s exact numbers and concentration. At the start of the scenario, the Coalition Player may deploy 10 Russian Verstekt Counters that serve as a source of confusion regarding their exact deployment. They represent 5 real units and 5 misidentified units. These counters are placed on the map and they will be revealed upon one of three actions; If the Versteckt Counter is fired upon by infantry or artillery and suffers a casualty, is meleed or is charged by cavalry ( at the point of contact) the counter is revealed When the counter is revealed it is either replaced with the actual combat unit it designates or it will be removed from play. Versteckt counters have a movement value of 8 and a fire defense of 11. During the Coalition Fire Phases all Versteckt counters which would normally be able to make a fire attack on an enemy formation will make a 1 to 1 fire attack and the result will be applied to the French Formation. This includes the loss of increments, leader casualties and morale checks.
