July Challenge: A man owes $10,000. At the moment, he has nothing, and has just started a new job. His schedule has him work only every other month. During the month he is off, it takes him two weeks to cash the check for his previous month’s work, and from that amount, at the end of the month, he has $1,000 left. When should the collection agency next meet with him to settle his debt? August Challenge: The shadows of a three dimensional object cast on three planes perpendicular to each other create a circle, a square, and an equilateral triangle. What is the shape?

September Challenge: It is currently midnight. How long is it until the minute hand and the hour hand are perpendicular to each other?
