MSA Club News -The bridge over Gauntlett Falls has been completely redecked. Thank you to all who contributed their time on this project. It looks amazing and should last a long time. It was in pretty rough shape with some boards completely broken through! -Traci said she has another crew completing the rebuild of the “Crooked Bridge” in the Junction. It has been completely stripped down and restruc- tured. Thank you to Bishop Concrete in Brownville for the donation of the concrete structures for the bridge! It is local companies helping out that make all the difference!! -The 111 has been brushed and is ready for signage! -SchoodicMountain trail (aka Spring Trail) has been brushed and there is a reroute taking the sharp corner out. Big shout out to the VanKnowe gang for all the hard work! We plan on bringing the BR275 through there this winter! We should be able to make a loop up over Schoodic, down to fire road 5 and then back up Al’s Alley! It should be AMAZING! -Kathie and Scott Lee are in the process of setting up an online store to purchase ESC clothing as well. We have some of last years shirts avail- able for the bargain price of $15.00 postage included! They are also designing new items to commemorate our amazing year we had last year! I can’t wait to get my new shirt!!! -Pam and Russ Krauss and Trudy and Doug VanKnowe will be heading up the food wagon! We will be having a (donation only) hot dog/hot soup wagon for Martin Luther King week- end and Presidents Day weekend as well! Location to be determined. -Jennifer Mscisz donated a propane grill which will be place out there on the trail as well. Not sure of the exact location yet but I am sure we will all have fun cooking on it! We are thinking this winter is going to be different for us all. Yes, we will be outside recreating in the fresh air, but maybe it won’t be as easy to get into our favorite trailside eateries. We thought we could bring the food to you! So, in closing, please consider helping us out with this exciting new opportunity! Thank you, Laurie Plourde, President Ebeemee Snowmobile Club CENTRAL REGION LEXINGTON HIGHLANDERS sc Lexington Twp, ME Hi ya’ll, It’s getting to be that time of year

be held in December, and our annual club Snowball raffle tickets are avail- able with drawings each day of Feb- ruary. Please help support the club by selling tickets and/or buying some. Lastly, don’t forget to renew your membership if you haven’t already. Sincerely, Roberta Kemp, V.P. Summer is gone and winter closing in on us again. COVID is still very much a part of our lives and for that reason we regret to say that we will not be holding a land owners appre- ciation function this year. However, we are no less grateful for the gen- erosity of the land owners that allow snowmobile trails to cross their prop- erties. Thank you does not seem to be enough. But we genuinely do thank you. We are hoping that in the spring we can celebrate your kindness and generosity with a fitting gathering. A club work day is planned for Sunday November 1. On the agenda is cleaning the Quonset Hut (club- house), maintenance on the groomer to have it in tiptop shape for the trails and some trail work. We will be gathering at 9:00 AM but will gladly receive any help at any time you can join us. There is a variety of chores to be tackled so don’t be afraid to get on board and join in the fun. If you have questions on how you can help feel free to contact our presi- dent, Vanessa at 612-8484. HEART OF GOLD sc Harmony, ME PEJEPSCOT SNO-CHIEFS Lisbon Falls, ME Find Us on Facebook Happy Autumn from Pejepscot Sno-Chiefs! We are fast approaching another season of snow & sleds, and I hear The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a snowy winter so, we better get ready now!!! We held a club meeting way back in July to take care of club “house- keeping duties”, as Steve calls it! We did decide to go with a side x side with tracks for our new club groomer, which would allow us to do more trail work with or without snow. (We have sold the club’s Blazer.) The Town of Lisbon approved the purchase price from the snowmobile fund, and this enabled us to add the 2014 Polaris Ranger with appropriate accessories to our club’s grooming lineup. So be watching for it on the trail! We also voted to go with a $15.00 Marie Lougee Club Reporter

GOODWILL RIDERS sc Happy Fall to all you! Once again, we have been very busy on our trails clear- ing blowdowns and repairing bridges. The biggest project has been replacing a 30 foot bridge on our ITS trail. We discovered that one the Telephone Polls under the Bridge had a major crack in it and the only option was to replace. We replaced the Telephone Polls with Bar Joists and built a new bridge that should last 20+ years. Many thanks to Marcel Fortier, Troy Hopkins, Mark Cleaves, Neil Merrill, Tyler Poll and any oth- ers I may have missed. They worked 2 weekends to get this accomplished through the pouring rain. ITS trail that goes under I-95. We’ve met with Cianbro and are trying to get a meeting with the Railroad and other Parties to allow us to reroute our trail to accommodate the new Bridge Con- struction that is happening on I-95. We will have a new club trail this year that comes off the ITS trail near the Fiber Right building. The new trail will cross the road staying on the Pipeline and then loop around onto the power line down to an access road that leads to Ammo Industrial Park and Bangor. This trail will loop all the way around to our existing club trail that runs par- allel to Route 202 and down to the Coldbrook Rd. At our monthly Club Meeting, we discussed our Monthly bean suppers, which are currently being decided on a month-to-month basis due to Covid. We decided not to have an October and most likely not a November sup- per either. Thank you for reading this update and please reach out to any of the contacts on our website if you would like to help out in any way. We would love to have new or old members volunteer just once to do something that helps the club and our trails be the best they can be. A lot of a little helps a lot. Rich Armstrong, President

We are purchasing a piece of prop- erty for our groomer barn and equip- ment! The property is located behind the parking lot on route 11, right here in Ebeemee (where the groomer is located during the snowmobile sea- son). It is an approximately 2 ½ acre lot. We will have 200’ of frontage on the parking lot side and long term plan is to have a park and ride to better accommodate those who trailer up to Ebeemee to enjoy our amazing trails! I am writing this letter as an appeal for donations to go toward the pur- chase of this property! We have received one anonymous donation of $10,000 already! We still need to raise another $15,000 to complete the purchase! It is looking like it will be difficult for us to have our Reverse Raffle fundraiser this year due to the Covid so I am reaching out to every- one in hopes you can help us raise the necessary funds by donation. Taken last winter, susan Ayles, Jeff and Diane Vanknowe, Pete Plourde, Jen Mscisz, Dave Ash, Laurie Plourde at Parlin Pond Please, if you enjoy riding our beautiful trails or just want to help us out, send a donation to help us reach our goal! We are so excited about this amazing opportunity to further improve our ability to serve our fellow snowmobilers! Please mail your dona- tion to: Ebeemee Snowmobile Club, PO Box 633, Brownville, ME 04414 Other news: We have all been very busy prepar- ing for the upcoming season. Here is a little recap of some of the things we have been working on… -We are in the process of applying to the IRS for our 501 (C) (3) IRS Charitable Status! Our great friends Bill and Deane Brewer have been guiding us through the process and offering their advice.
