Kilner ® Wide Mouth Preserve Jars The Kilner ® Wide Mouth Preserve Jars are perfect for preserving whole fruits and vegetables as the wider opening allows for easy filling. The jar incorporates an easy to use metal screw top lid made up of two pieces - a replaceable vacuum seal and a metal screw band to secure the seal. Kilner ® Anniversary Jars The Kilner ® business was first established by John Kilner ® in 1842 in Yorkshire, England and initially produced glass bottles and jars. Towards the end of the 19th century, Kilner ® designed and developed a patent for a vacuum seal jar using a glass lid and metal screw band which would revolutionise the way in which food could be made and stored. This simple but effective system is still used today. The 175th Anniversary Jar mirrors the styling and finish of the original creation.

Set contains: • 1 x 3 Litre Kilner ® Drinks Dispenser with Beechwood Lid • 2 x 0.4 Litre Kilner ® Handled Jars • 1 x 2 metres Twine • 3 x 21cm Muslin Squares

Bring water to the boil and add in sugar. Stir until dissolved.

Add teabags and allow to infuse for 15 minutes. Remove and leave to cool.

Pour cooled tea into the Kilner ® Drinks Dispenser and add ‘SCOBY’.

Cover with a Kilner ® Muslin Square and leave to ferment for 7-15 days.

Kilner ® Butter Churner The Kilner ® Butter Churner offers everyone an easy way to make homemade butter and makes a stylish addition to the kitchen. Simply place whipping cream into the butter churner, turn the handle and in as little as ten minutes enjoy fresh and delicious tasting butter! Included within the set is easy to follow step-by-step instructions as well as a selection of recipes. Steps to make homemade butter: • A 300ml carton of whipping cream makes 110g of butter. • Prepare ingredients and churn the heavy cream. • Rinse butter in ice cold water and remove any liquid. • Flavour butter then store.
