The wineries shown below can be easily covered in a 2 day self drive from Perth taking in other Southern Wheatbelt attractions, or simply call in and say ‘Hi’ if driving between Perth and Albany or Perth and Esperance. We can truly say if you have called into wineries in other parts of Australia you will notice a difference with the Wheatbelt wine producers, they are passionate about their wines, they exude country hospitality and all tastings are FREE. The closest to Perth is in Wandering, only 125 kilometres from the city. A number of wineries exist in Wandering and from there it’s an easy to drive to the beautiful historic town of Narrogin and onto the scenic salt lake country near Lake Grace.

Only 90 minutes south east of Perth near the town of Wandering, this boutique winery is nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of the Wandering Valley. The café/tasting building is constructed from local timber and rammed earth affording sweeping views. Self contained caravanners/ campers welcome to stay for up to 3 days to enjoy surrounds and quietness whilst using us as a base. We are members of Caravan Overnight Farmstay and Wiki Camps. Walkers Hill Vineyard is a unique award winning vineyard situated in the Eastern Wheatbelt, 1 hour south of Wave Rock & 8kms from Lake Grace. Offering FREE wine tasting, homemade cake and coffee and cheese platters it is a must see for those travelling past. The newly opened function center is available for group bookings, lunches and evening meals, by prior arrangement.
