Ms. Kimble suggested that members use this information to update their websites to answer these frequently asked questions. iv. Condensed Term 1. MGCCC & PRCC will run condensed terms again this spring. In the fall, other colleges will be able offer short-term sessions. The regular term runs 15 weeks. Add/Drop will be January 17 th and 18 th since January 16 th is a holiday. There has been discussion about MSVCC Add/drop not matching with local institutions' add/drop. Ms. Kimble also asked DLCs to have instructors verify the names on the grade list as soon as the grade submission tool vi. Withdrawals 1. Andrea Scott reminded members about their excessive absence policy. EMCC instructors do not drop students. If a student wishes to be removed from an EMCC class, they must request a withdrawal. A discussion about this policy occurred and Ms. Scott stated that she would send a list of inactive students at the time of the audit and again right before the MSVCC withdrawal date. 2. Students who have never attended should be marked in MSVCC as a Withdrawal with the reason listed as Never Attended and the LDA as the first day of class. Do not remove the students from the course after add/drop. is turned on so that last-minute problems can be prevented. 3. The MSVCC fee assessment date is Friday, February 3
