A meeting of the Distance Learning Coordinator’s Association was held at the State Board for Junior and Community Colleges in Jackson, MS on Tuesday, August 8, 2006.

I. CALL TO ORDER. Jenniffer Wamsley called the meeting to order at approximately 1:40pm.

New Business a. SCORE/Collaboration Meeting. Members discussed the meeting held prior to the beginning of the DLC meeting. Members agreed that it was a successful meeting. Members were commended on their ability to work well with each other.

III.

Consortium Issues presented by Audra Kimble a. Blackboard i. Downtime (August 4-11)

ii. The first training course will be held September 11-22 iii. The second will be held October 2-13 iv. The last will be held October 23-November 3

b. Please send names and addresses of those who will be participating in the Blackboard training course if you have not done so already. In addition, if your college is paying for you to attend in addition to another person, please indicate that.
