MELA Meeting Minutes 2003 - 2017

i. Audra Kimble reported that Blackboard will be down for upgrades between July 30 – August 15. ii. The MSVCC certification course begins June 18 th and will be hosted on the Blackboard staging server. Participants are encouraged to submit changes and suggestions iii. Horizon Wimba is offering a free license of 16 seats for the ME 2 GA. Training will be conducted in conjunction with the next DLC meeting, August 2 nd & 3 rd . iv. Audra Kimble will send a reminder about the new naming convention for MSVCC courses in Blackboard. A new script will be provided for testing courses. v. As a result of the ME 2 GA project, the Presidium contract will be adjusted. The new contract will be implemented in phases to support Phase 1 schools for both local and online courses in the fall. Phase 2 schools will continue to have support for online courses until they are completely phased in. d. The state registrar’s meeting will be held on June 28-29.
