The meeting was called to order by Audra Leverton.
The minutes were not approved because they had not been received by the president at that time.
There was no unfinished business.
New Business:
According to Jennifer Leimer 8.2 is the new version of Desire2Learn and we are looking into getting the new version. She doesn’t know if there is additional cost to the upgrade but will check into it. MGCC will offer training in June and July for the new version and will be glad to go to any campus. Boot camp might be a good time to train the DLC’s who needs the knowledge to help serve the students. The question was raised “ Is anyone opposed to going to 8.2 version?” No one said yes. Tish questioned how long it takes for the upgrade. Jennifer said that it would not take very long. Jennifer said they would be willing to show the new features at the next DLC meeting. Tish moved that we go ahead with the upgrade and Jackie seconded it. It was unanimously voted in. Margaret passed out changes in the online registration in the Enrollment tool. She stated that the “Begin Online Registration” button needs to be changed to “Reserve Seat Here” and add “Registration must be completed at your Institution” at the bottom of the student’s profile. She suggested adding dropdown list to add college’s email to the registration page. Discussion about changing the email in enrollment tool was held. Point was made to leave the alternate email in the
