2009 – June Part 2 DLC Action Items – June 25, 2009 Meeting

 Audra Leverton will need to submit the registration request for the Enrollment Tool to the Enrollment Tool committee. Chris Square will be forwarding this to Christian Pruett today.  The following items need to be added to the July 2009 DLC agenda: 1. Student/Faculty/Supervisor Evaluations 2. Faculty Identification Numbers in the Enrollment Tool 3. Faculty Transcripts in the Enrollment Tool  Christian will follow-up with SBCJC to determine if there are any legal issues with providing deans with a work load summary for MSVCC faculty members. If there are no issues, he will discuss the option of adding this form with Ive.  Terry will work with Jennifer and Buffy on the development of the Desire2Learn orientation, similar to that of the Blackboard session that he and Sharon created.  Strategic Plan Committee Action Items:  Best Practices – Continue to present to the group for new and improved ideas on training. If there is anything that this group can do, please let us know.  Technology – There is a lot of confusion on each of these roles and what each role has rights and privileges to do. Before we create anything new in the ET, this committee needs to go through each role. We may be able to consolidate roles, rather than having multiple roles that use the same tools.  Quality – we need to review the surveys for students, course, and faculty surveys. We also may want to have a student withdrawal survey.  Support – to work with Patrick and David at Presidium and provide feedback on how many tickets were submitted, how many were escalated, how many of these tickets were resolved. This will require some communication directly with feedback.  Administration – Tish and Christian will continue to finalize policies and procedures. We were supposed to go through our Deans on the noon Friday recommendation. We will also work on the Strategic Plan. He has received dates from the Technology Committee and have included those dates.  A Wimba classroom will be setup for the Bb Error training during the July 2009 meeting.
