longer create the problem of unlimited seats rather the program will rebalance itself as students are added or deleted from the course.

Class Pre-requisites

1.Janice Poole (PRCC) asked that each college require that its instructors list any course pre-requisites. She suggested listing these under “Course Descriptions” or “Comments”. 2.Mark Smith (MGCCC) stated that course pre-requisites are different from college to college. The DLCs agreed that any list of pre-requisites would have to include a statement that the pre-requisites are based on the individual colleges’ requirements.

K. A request was made to have the textbook publisher field added to the student profile and to the Course Offerings page on the un-secure portion of the MSVCC web site.

L.

Run Time Errors

1.Jennifer Leimer (MGCCC) reported Run Time Errors in the MSVCC Enrollment Tool experienced at MGCCC. After explanation of the error, it was discovered that the problem has only occurred at MGCCC. Jennifer is working with Ive Burnett to solve the problem.

M.

Late Grade Submission Procedures

1.Audra Kimble (Holmes) asked that the association decide on a standard procedure for grade submissions after the electronic submission deadline. The association agreed to use the original manual grade submission form. The association was reminded to update the contact information on the contact spreadsheet.

N.

Drop/Add Procedure

1.Audra Kimble (Holmes) asked for clarification on the need for DLC to DLC emails during the drop/add period. Audra questioned the need for reporting drop/adds via emails due to the ability of instructors to reconcile their Blackboard rolls and MSVCC rosters. The association agreed to continue the email procedure during the drop/add period. All emails should go directly from DLC to DLC. 2.Alicia Shows (SWMCC) reminded the association of the Student Report on the enrollment tool that allows for easy reconciliation of rolls between MSVCC and the college administrative system.

O.

Enrollment Tool Request

1.Audra Kimble (Holmes) requested the ability to copy/paste the local course listing to the Holmes website. Copy/paste is available but the course hyperlinks remain active thus giving students the ability to delete course information.

2.Ive Burnett discussed this with Audra and made the suggestion of using a ‘String’ option to transfer the course listing to the web page.
