MELA Meeting Minutes 2003 - 2017

Blackboard offers a client satisfaction survey. Previously, this has been completed at State Board. Terry provided the link so the colleges could provide input. http://www.ccmcsurvey.com/blackboard/?survey=B1TE48065 Each college will be provided a student orientation course for Blackboard. It was created by Blackboard instructional designers at no cost. The course can be placed on a module in Blackboard. Terry will provide more directions. Blackboard Training-Terry has compiled a list of the training requests. He will email the list to the group. Update on First Year Faculty Survey-About eighty instructors responded to the survey. The biggest issues reported were troubleshooting technical problems, designing/redesigning courses, building assessments and teaching above the content. Terry will email the survey results.

Training Materials for Smarthinking-Lilly Land has created a two page quick guide for Smarthinking. She will send the information to Terry.
