Open Forum a. Ive attended the meeting after lunch. Jennifer discussed with Ive the possibility of adding the Flex term into the ET. It was finalized by saying that it needed to be “blessed” and once the blessing was made Ive could add the term to the ET. This will be further discussed at next ELC meeting. b. Ive stated that he could add the academic year and the term to the ET. (i.e. 2012-2013 Fall). Ive needs a list of all the reports that need to change the year/term so that Ive can make the change. Keri said she would let Holly know about the change. c. Holmes renaming sections-Elizabeth stated that Holmes will be changing their section patterns. Holmes will have their online courses identified by o@#. Ive highly recommended that they not use the @ symbol because many databases do not like special characters. d. Calendar- A motion was made to “back up” the Fall 2013 calendar dates due to the term starting before MGCCC traditional courses. Jennifer Leimer made the motion. Phyllis Johnson seconded the motion. All revisions need to be turned into Keri by October 31. Keri will send a finalized copy of the dates to the ELC list on November 1 st or 2 nd . The ELC’s also discussed the 14-15 academic calendar and the need for it to be ready in time for each college to prepare their catalogs. Krista stated that she would have to put TBA by all dates in her 13-14 catalog since the group was still making revisions. Keri and Jennifer Leimer are going to work on the 14-15 calendar and discuss with the group. No Shows Due To Other Schools........................................................................
