Since not all Colleges are attending, Beverlin stated that there will be money left over to pay for registrations for other colleges to have more than one person’s registration paid for. Tish recommended we do a lottery to keep it fair. e. Textbook-Phyllis stated that in the SIS there is only one spot for a textbook to go up with the SIS. Asked how we need to handle that for the batch upload process for Spring. We can manually add more courses in the ET. f. Keri stated that for calendar purposes we need to have a detailed calendar for grade due dates for short term and issues with grades due on graduation dates. g. Canvas Show-and-Tell-Keri wants Bb to turn off her Hinds Bb domain on June 1 to drive students to Canvas. Keri used the redirect tool to include a navigation tab called Hinds Information. ECCC used a master template and was able to run it through the LTI. Keri mentioned the Staff Picks on the Canvas Design Page. There are several good courses that highlight quality design within Canvas. Kim Harris showed her login page which included Java scripts that included custom links below the Canvas login screen. Kim will send out the script to the consortium. PRCC noticed that when you have a text header and a student goes through sequential mode, the text header is skipped over. Buffy stated that Jing videos work in Canvas.

Fall 2013 Grades are due on December 13 which is also the graduation date for some colleges. Krista addressed the issue about if grades were changed to being due on Monday, it would be after Monday. This is an item that needs to be discussed among our Colleges and discuss at May meeting under unfinished business.
