6. Ability to pull individual rosters for any MSVCC course to see grades. This will help make a decision as to if you want to pull it in, etc. Students that do not belong to your institution are masked out. a. Ive is going to make a spreadsheet extraction that will show summary data and course identifying information per Keri Cole’s request. 7. Instructor Login – all dates removed and ‘Control’ menu removed. 8. Audit Submission message has been made larger. 1. Search button to submit when you click Enter… when searching for a student. 2. Ive will move old data from the old system to the new database so we can see previous years of surveys (in progress) 3. Hinds requested that the Master List be in a downloadable form. Ive is going to look into fulfilling this request. i. Michelle Sumerel will e-mail a revised Policy & Procedure Manual for review. We will vote on the changes electronically. 1. Most are minor changes (verbiage changes, fee changes, addition of virtual proctoring, etc.). 2. There was a change to the Agenda format that will allow us to streamline our meetings (Changed Unfinished Business to Action Items). 3. The Library Committee said we could take out the piece regarding the library lending agreement and replace with a narrative about learning resources (MELO, and tutoring). Audra e-mailed this suggested change to the Admin Committee for approval, and will add these to the track changes prior to e- mailing out to the group. iii. ET stuff Ive is working on: New Business a. Presentation from Blackboard Representative, Connie Weber (cweber@blackboard.com) i. Connie stated that “a year and a half ago” Blackboard stated that they should be supporting customers more. In turn, Connie is a free resource to us and is available to help with any Blackboard issues. ii. Connie gave an update on the new BB Collaborate (Launched in May, and has only used 3-4 months), also called the ‘new ultra experience’. Requires no Java, and is browser based. Uses WebRTC technology (runs primarily on Chrome). The only setup is video/audio. If not using Chrome, Flash is used and quality is not as good. 1. Jennifer Leimer asked about mobile functionality. Connie replied that the new BB Collaborate does not have a mobile version yet. 2. Jennifer Leimer asked about a pilot. Connie replied that she could give individuals a room to hold a session if we want to try it out. 3. Features that Connie mentioned: whiteboard (area to type and draw), content f.
