MELA Meeting Minutes 2003 - 2017

i. Many schools are experiencing issues with Turnitin. Most schools like the product, but we would like to see a guarantee on consistency now that it is time to renew the contract and the price has increased. ii. Krista LeBrun has been talking with Jennifer Sales from Turnitin, and provided the group with quotes. However, she didn’t think we would be able see much improvement with turnaround time, service, or support after renewing. Krista will request data usage and other information from Jennifer Sales, and send it to the group before we make a decision in March about a 1-, 2-, or 3-year contract. Contract pricing handouts were passed out to the group.
