New Business A. Bookstore Manager Issue-general discussion B. Proctored Testing Issues

i. Ms. McCrimon asked members to encourage instructors to incorporate any additional software needs during testing in the special needs area of the proctored exam information in the enrollment tool. Other A. Richard Blackburn asked for a list of contacts at each college. Mr. Pugh recommended that Mr. Blackburn start a list of all distance learning personnel. Mr. Blackburn also agreed to start a bookstore contact list. B. Mr. Smith inquired about short-term online courses. Most stated that they thought it would be possible, and Mr. Pugh said that he would ask Dr. Day about the possibility. C. General discussion about IHL true distance offerings. Ms. Loftin and Ms. Kimble both stated that MSU offers Elementary Education and MBA courses in a true distance learning format. It was mentioned that USM has been inquiring about enrollment numbers in MSVCC. D. Mr. Blackburn asked if colleges have a no show policy. Mr. Pugh interjected that the State Board says that attendance is based on the instructor’s statement about activity. E. Ms. Shows would like to send out a survey to association members about withdrawal policies/deadlines etc.
