i. Reports of students taking provided courses and students taking hosted courses have been created as exportable delimited text files. ii. Non-verified students will be removed from batch file prior to upload into Blackboard iii. Add/Select and Remove courses will replace Build List of Courses Offered by (college.) iv. A Course Listing Review report will be added that provides a quick view of the information listed in the Master Course Update form. v. Mr. Yates stated that Mr. Burnett mentioned that the student id needs to be revisited. Mr. Burnett collects a five (or six) digit ID number that could be combined with a student's initials to use as the blackboard login. A general discussion about issues with using this format took place. This id would change every semester. Members discussed adding the six digit date of birth to the registration form so that it can be used by students to login to their student profile rather than social security number. vi. Mr. Yates provided the following IP address for testing the following changes to the enrollment tool: 172.30.24.15/enrollment. 1. BB username will be listed on the student profile 2. Whether student is verified or non-verified will be indicated on the student profile Ms. Kimble would like to present the honesty, discipline, and grievance policies to the president's association along with the policies and procedures manual. Members were asked to provide feedback. Andrea Scott moved to accept the Honesty Policy as presented. Hubert Yates seconded the motion. Janice Poole moved to accept the Discipline Policy as presented. Laura Lofton seconded the motion. Members agreed to change Item four as follows: "If the student is not satisfied with the resolution of the grievance, the student must follow the procedures prescribed by the providing college in writing. The appeal to the providing college must be made within five working days of the previous decision." Andrea Scott moved to accept the Student Grievance Procedure as modified by members. Hubert Yates seconded the motion. c. Other i. Janice Poole asked if there was a minimum set of standards in MSVCC that are used to evaluate courses. Ms. Kimble stated that there is a basic format in the Policies and Procedures Manual on Page 43, but it should probably be refined to meet each institution's need. ii. Laura Lofton added that a statement was placed in their college catalog in the description just before the listing of academic courses relating to acceptance of host courses: "The Copiah-Lincoln Instructional Council has approved the acceptance of all Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC) courses as an addendum to the courses listed in the Copiah- Lincoln Community College catalog." iii. Andrea Scott asked how EMCC's dropping of their attendance policy (after reporting no- shows) would affect other colleges in the consortium. A general discussion about withdrawals ensued and the general agreement was that this would not affect other colleges. iv. Laura Lofton asked if the "Online Certification" of instructors was being pursued. Ms. Kimble indicated that the Training sub-committee had been working on this and stated that funding for training had been allocated in the budget. The first priority for training at 3.
