Taste, health, convenience, reliabi lity and vitality for consumers are key to PF brands. PF plans to offer a wide range of products for the local markets in the Far East. The project therefore includes stateoftheart storage systems for liquids and overflow protection devices (OPD). To achieve the set production capacity of the facility, the liquid processing capacity has to be over 1,200,000 L per day. The contract for this liquid proces sing capacity expansion has been awarded to MECHANICAL ENGINEERING . The assignment includes the design, procurement and installation and high quality maintenance of the necessary equipment. Equipment installed included microfilter equipment for filtration of liquids (to filter out any microorganisms). A production line for the ultrafiltration of whey is also to be installed to sepa rate proteins for refined whey products (whey protein additives for the food industry) and also a filter for the production of the liquids used in the various kinds of beverages apart from the milk.
