It was a record 9th annual conference on every front: attendance, gala, keynote speakers from across Canada, poster sub- missions, judging, sponsorships, etc. Our 2016-2017 annual report also revealed a record 9th fiscal year in financing awards and grants and engaging in partnerships and value demonstration strategic initiatives. There was a third (NCE-CFN) major announcement for research innovation on seniors’ health bringing the total to $6.4M (NCE-AgeWell, NCE-CFN, CABHI) being invested in the next 5 years along with a previously announced Health Research Chair in Community Health and Ag- ing at STU. The 10th year anniversary was accompanied by a nice promotional video profiling Vitalité, U de Moncton, ACRI and CFMNB and a keynote from one of the Foundation’s Founders, Mr. Robert (Bob) Simpson who offered 2 key modus operandi recommendations - à suivre.
