time will advance to the performance on Sunday (will not exceed 8). The top 4 in the average after the first and second go-rounds will advance to the Shoot Out Round also held during the second performance on Sunday, March 8. If there is a tie for the fourth contestant to advance to the Shoot Out Round, the tie will be broken by the single highest score or fastest time in either go-round. ENTRY FEES: ALL EVENTS - $500. The $100 designation fees that were paid by contestants at the qualifying rodeos (San Francisco, Billings, Denver, Rapid City, San Angelo, Jackson, and Tucson) will be credited to the $500 entry fee. PAY-OFF: The long go-round on Saturday, March 7 will pay three places: $3,000 for first place, $2,250 for second place, and $1,000 for third place. The Shoot Out Round will pay $100,000 for first place, $25,000 for second place, $10,000 for third place, and $5,000 for fourth place (theses amounts are paid per man in the Team Roping). Only 50% of the $100,000 allotted for first place will count towards PRCA World Standings. The amounts allotted for second, third, and fourth place will count in their entirety towards PRCA World Standings. If there are not four qualified rides or times in the Shoot Out Round, the remaining places will be paid out in order based on highest ranked contestant (or team) in the average after the first two go-rounds, and all money paid out will count towards PRCA World Standings (with the exception of 50% of the money allotted for first place in the Shoot Out Round). Money won at this event will not count towards Texas Circuit Standings, nor will the rodeo be applied to a contestant’s required circuit participation count. In order for money won at this event to count towards qualification for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must enter and compete in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2020 rodeo year. TR - Only two loops allowed. Crossfire - The header must have control of the steer’s head and the steer’s head must be bent before the heeler can legally deliver his rope. In the instance where a steer sets up , at no fault of the roper, the heel loop can be thrown at any time once the header has control of the steer. TD - There will be a disqualification for a jerk down as long as all criteria are in compliance with the jerk down policy. TIMED EVENTS - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is awarded for any other reason, the extra will be used.
