Law Society's Workshops on Technology Development A two day workshop and exhibition on the development of the use of technological equipment in solicitors' offices was held in October at the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland headquarters at Blackhall Place, Dublin. Solicitors 9 Golfing Society^ The Second Annual Outing for the Solicitors' Golfing Society Perpetual Trophy took place at Newlands Golf Club (by kind permission) on Friday, 6th September. Again the Outing took the form of a mixed scramble and all the participants, both winners and non-winners, appeared to enjoy the day and evening thoroughly. The sun shone which brought out the best in the Ladies and which was reflected in the winning score. This year the winning team was led by Irene Gleeson (36) and supported by Donnchadh O'Buachalla (18), Johnny Bourke (12) and John Lynch (6). They had a nett 63 winning by four shots from Elaine Anthony (18), Philip Shiel (13) and Michael Quinlan (18). •
