Thursday 20th March 1986, The Master of the Rotunda Hospital, Dr. George Henry and Mr. Paul Carney, S.C. on "Rape and other Sexual Offences". Members are invited to join the Council and the guest speakers for dinner at 6.00 p.m. for 6.30 p.m. on the evening of each lecture. Finally, and I am aware that this may be taken by some to be special pleading, there should be some inclusion of academic commentary relevant to the problems being discussed in the text. One of the optim- istic features of a professional involvement in law in contemporary Ireland, is that there is a significant growth in the volume and quality of academic com- mentary.
