Finally, and I am aware that this may be taken by some to be special pleading, there should be some inclusion of academic commentary relevant to the problems being discussed in the text. One of the optim- istic features of a professional involvement in law in contemporary Ireland, is that there is a significant growth in the volume and quality of academic com- mentary.
