In early November 2017, the first IMF reviews in Gabon and Cameroon were the subject of an agreement between the Fund teams and the authorities on performance of the programmes. Growth in the WAEMU zone remained a healthy 6.6% in 2017, driven primarily by Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
