God's Plan For Man html

‘“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When any one hear s t he me s sag e abou t t he ki ngdom and do e s no t unde r s t and i t , t he e v i l one c ome s and sna t che s away wha t was s own i n h i s hear t . This is the seed sown along the path. The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. Bu t t he one who r e c e i v ed t he s e ed t ha t f e l l on g ood s o i l i s t he man who hear s t he wo rd and unde r s t ands i t . ’ ” (Matthew 13:10-23) These words are perfectly applicable because once again the old order is about to pass away; spiritual evolution continues, so we would not misunderstand. Jesus explained the relativity of God to man, and the foolishness of incorrect thinking: “Wa t ch ou t f o r f a l s e pr ophe t s . The y c ome t o y ou i n she ep ’ s c l o t h i ng , but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ The r e f o r e e v e r y one who hear s t he s e wo rds o f mi ne and pu t s t hem i n t o pra c t i c e i s l ike a wi s e man who bu i l t h i s hous e on t he r o ck . The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (Matthew 7:15-27) The use of the vernacular “LORD, Lord,” must be construed accurately. If one does not comprehend who the LORD of Lord is, and the profound reason why it was spoken in future tense you/we will misunderstand – deeper reflection is necessary. Remember, Jesus is LORD of Lords! These words are in the distinct upper and lower case for a profound reason.
