Caregiver Conference Presenters Ricky Cox grew up and lives in Floyd County, teaches American Literature, Appalachian Folklore, and an introductory course in Appalachian Studies at Radford University. Michael Cranwell has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 12 years & currently is the Administrator/Team Leader of Heritage Hall–Rich Creek. Melisha Darnell serves in the role of Vice President of Quality Improvement, provides direct supervision of Heritage Home Health, and facilitates a monthly quality assurance performance improvement process. Avi Hopkins has over 20 years of operations, finance, and nonprofit experience and currently works with Legacy Navigator in the Richmond community to build a network supporting families in distress. Tina King has served as the Executive Director of the New River Valley Agency on Aging since 2006 and has worked within the agency since 1983 helping to implement and execute services and new programs to better meet the needs of the aging population. She is also the Executive Director for the New River Valley Senior Services, Inc. and Pulaski Area Transit. Angela McGoldrick is a licensed professional counselor and specializes in couples & families, self care, self-esteem building, life transitions, and career/life counseling. Megan Moore works as Care Coordinator and certified Options Counselor with the New River Valley Agency on Aging and has been trained in Person- Centered Counseling and Care Transitioning. Pete Shrock currently works for Legacy Navigator and has served as an emotional first responder in situations of grief, trauma, & crisis and supported those affected by the tragedies at 9/11, Sandy Hook, and Virginia Tech. Lindy Waterbeck Terry has been involved with hospice and end-of-life care for 13 years, as both a care-giver, a volunteer, and an end-of-life doula. Shayna Th cker works as an Aging and Disability Services Specialist , Care Transitions Coach, and Options Counselor and her previous experiences include her work as a Family Services Specialist as well as a Patient Access representative in an acute care setting. Chris Moore is a certified aging in place specialist ( CAPS ), certified environmental access consultant ( CEAC ), and certified graduate remodeler ( CGR ), and performs comprehensive home evaluations in order to recommend home modifications.
