A. Summary of the Method

Powder samples add 70% MeOH, shaken vigorously, extracted for 30 min in a sonicator, centrifuged and filtered then analyzed using HPLC. Concentrate samples take 2 grams and add 15 mL water and let sit for 1 hour. Add MeOH to final volume of 50 mL, sonicate for 30 min. filter and then analyze using HPLC. Separation using HPLC gradient system with 0.001% phosphoric acid in water and 0.001% phosphoric acid in acetonitrile as the mobile phase. Column is a Acquity BEH C18 column 100mm x 2.1mm 1.7um. Column temperature 40C, flow rater 0.6 mL/min. Detection at 203nm.
