A gradient method utilizing conventional chromatography with dual-wavelength UV detection.

A. Does the applicability of the method support the applicability of the SMPR? If not, please explain what is missing.

Method addresses correct analytes: six kavalactones and three flavokavains. Although not much emphasis is made on the analytes identification, it could be achieved by using the retention time and – perhaps – PDA spectra of the analytes. Applicability statement references numerous matrices of which the only one was tested: supercritical CO2 extract, which is a definite shortcoming
