Travel with fellow educators on a 10-day professional learning tour to Europe in 2016. As you travel through Europe, explore education in a global context while visiting places of interest in London, Brussels and Amsterdam. Join us in The Hague for a culminating event with other teachers and students for the Global Student Leaders Summit. Hear from world-renowned keynote speakers, attend expert-led workshops, and network with international teams of educators.

Paleis (Royal Palace); the National Monument; Nieuwekerk (New Church); Begijnhof; Waterlooplein; Rembrandtplein – Visit the Anne Frank House – Go on a canal cruise – Learn about educational practices in the Netherlands and visit a local school Days 7-9: Amsterdam | The Hague – Free time in Amsterdam – Visit the Vincent van Gogh Museum – Shop in the city’s pedestrian center – Travel to The Hague – Begin the Global Student Leaders Summit, a three-day leadership conference, where you will hear from world-renowned keynote speakers, attend expert-led workshops and observe students as they work in small international teams to design and present their own solutions to human rights challenges.

Day 1: Fly to London

Day 2: London – Walking tour of London: River Thames; the Strand; Trafalgar Square; Leicester Sqaure, Covent Garden Day 3: London – Guided sightseeing of London: Grosvenor Square, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus; Trafalgar Square; Houses of Parliament; South Bank – Visit the Tower of London – Learn about educational practices in London and visit a local school
