By deciding to focus on Marcus and DedSec this time around, we went for a cast of characters that present us with a different perspective on the Watch_Dogs universe. Marcus is a fun loving person. While he deals with serious subjects he still tries to see the positive. How much of the tech inWD2 is fabrication and how much of it actually exists today? We do significant research and work with technical consultants to ensure that all of our in game technical references are grounded in reality. We sometimes give ourselves some liberty for the sake of gameplay, but all the hacks present in WD2 are technically possible. Obviously, the game universe is a fiction, but by grounding technological elements we do not limit our creativity, it actually helps us focus it. For players of the first game, what are some of the most noticeable differences? The change in character and setting allowed us to shift the tone of the game,

multiplayer?Where did the idea to include co-op come from?Was that something you’ve always wanted to include? Watch Dogs 2 is building on the seamless online components developed in the original Watch Dogs . We are improving on the best competitive experiences of the first game, but also adding friendly encounters with other DedSec hackers in the city. We felt that the seamless online gameplay from the previous game was fun but that many players would enjoy less competitive additions. Co-op

The hacking gameplay has been expanded and is a lot more flexible, driving mechanics have been revamped and players have a new bigger and more diverse playground to explore. Ultimately the player will have more control, more surprises and more freedom.
